感恩節快樂


   

小C今天感恩節我們吃Turkey Dinner和南瓜!好嘢好嘢!

我不要再吃Turkey Dinner!!你看布殊都放生火雞。

唓那只是宣傳。況且我們只是吃牠的妹妹……嗱乖,um……

媽媽這南瓜好甜…?

o下……好了好了,這是南瓜的妹妹,木瓜……滋陰呀木瓜……

 

美國人過感恩節,就如中國人過年。係,阿四崇洋,也最愛感恩節。

餐廳在感恩節都關門,全街水靜河飛,中國人如不想到唐人街掃興,就唯有在家學焗火雞;又如果不想焗壞火雞掃興,就唯有像阿四帶個小食到人家裏黐餐。阿四獨沽一味,永遠帶個香蕉蛋糕,永遠受歡迎:

材料

牛油1/2杯 (先放室溫軟化)

奶1/4杯       糖3/4杯       蛋2隻        雲呢拿油1茶匙

梳打粉1茶匙      鹽1/2茶匙    麵粉2杯

香蕉蓉1杯 (若2隻)

做法

(1) 參照自製乳酪步驟(1) 

(2) 將頭5樣材料拌混。

(3) 將梳打粉、鹽、麵粉拌混後,分兩次倒入(2)中拌混。

(4) 加入香蕉拌混,亦可隨意加入半杯果仁或乾果。

(5) 放入塗了油的長方形pan,攝氏180度(華氏350度)焗50分鐘,插入牙籤,如能乾淨拉出即搞掂。

    I was so used to making that I didn’t even bother jotting down the temp & time on my notes, now that I haven’t made it for so long, I have totally forgotten about the procedures and baking time.

    I have even just put everything together all at once before mixing the whole put. Oh, it should be 50 min., I kept thinking that it was around half an hour. 唉 “good" old memory turning into “bad" (=old) “memory".
